The memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Sept. 14 at the Chapel at St. Timothy & St. Titus at Concordia Seminary of 狐狸视频 at 801 Seminary Place in Clayton.

The Ted Drewes stand at 6726 Chippewa Street in 狐狸视频 Hills will be closed the day of the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the Drewes family requests memorial donations to the Historic Trinity Lutheran Church in Soulard.

In May of 2022, 75-year-old Edward Walter died after being hit by a car while crossing Chippewa Street in front of the store. 2000: Mother's Day tradition with Ted Drewes Frozen Custard
May 14, 2000 -- Pam Pritt, of Creve Coeur, celebrates Mothers Day like she has every year since the family moved to 狐狸视频 six-years-ago; with a concrete custard from Ted Drewes. Her sons (from left) Chris, 19; Nathan, 12; and Daniel 14, sit perched atop the family truck in the parking lot along Chippewa. Husband and father Jerry Pritt, who was nearby working on his own frozen treat, insists that the custard stand is a traditional part of all of their family celebrations. Store manager Chris Beckenmeier says traffic at the stand is always busy on Mothers Day as families flock to consume the 狐狸视频 staple.

1980: Cold treats soothe during a killer summer heat wave
