狐狸视频 County Executive Sam Page took heat this summer when his political action committee gave $10,000 to another PAC 鈥 one connected to Tony Weaver, a Page ally charged with fraud, and disbarred lawyer Elbert Walton Jr.
And now the public knows how a big chunk of that money was spent: Paying $7,500 to Rochelle Walton Gray, Weaver鈥檚 old boss and Walton鈥檚 daughter.
The Unified Democratic Township Organization LLC鈥檚 latest campaign finance report was filed Oct. 11 with the Missouri Ethics Commission. It shows that Gray was paid $2,000 on July 7, $2,500 on July 11, and then $3,000 on Sept. 2.
The reasons for all three payments to Gray were listed as 鈥渕eetings and event planning, organizing, coordination and management.鈥
As to specifically what was coordinated, planned and/or organized is unclear, as Gray did not respond to requests for comment.

Also unavailable for comment was Unified PAC鈥檚 treasurer, Chevon Weaver, who is Tony Weaver鈥檚 daughter-in-law.
As to any major events that Unified PAC may have planned, organized or coordinated, the only event-related expenditures noted in the finance report are: $220, for meeting space on July 28; and $475, for refreshments on Aug. 2 at a North County nightclub.
The new Unified report also shows that it paid off the $286 fine it owed to the ethics commission for four .
One of those four violations concerned the late reporting of payments made to Gray; Weaver; his son, Tony Weaver Jr.; and Janay Mosley, a Gray relative.
The $7,500 paid this summer to Gray is not the first time the Waltons and Weavers have benefited by being allies with Page.
After Gray lost her County Council reelection bid in 2020, Page hired her in January 2021 to a newly created position, 鈥淐OVID-19 vaccine outreach coordinator,鈥 that paid $89,000 a year.
Gray then hired two of her nieces, who are also Walton鈥檚 granddaughters, Chanel Mosley and Janay Mosley, as outreach assistants.
Gray lost that job in April 2022, due to a new charter amendment that prohibits elected county officials from working for the executive or County Council for at least two years after leaving office.
Page also found a job for Weaver, who had been Gray鈥檚 executive aide when she was on the council. Weaver landed an $82,000-a-year gig as the county jail鈥檚 鈥渃hange management coordinator.鈥
But Page had to cut the cord on Weaver in June, after Weaver was indicted by a federal grand jury on four counts of wire fraud in a scheme to obtain COVID-19 relief funds for a local businessman and then split the proceeds.
Weaver originally pleaded not guilty, but now is expected to plead guilty at a hearing on Friday.
The $10,000 donation from the Page PAC first raised eyebrows in July, when state Rep. Raychel legislator from Ferguson, took a social media shot at Page for his PAC giving the $10,000.
鈥淵ou fire the dude (Weaver) with felony charges and turn around and give his PAC $10,000? We see you,鈥 Proudie said on Twitter.
Proudie later told the Post-Dispatch that she filed a complaint with the state ethics commission, which does not comment on pending actions.
The complaint specifically revolves around a state law that requires that a committee report any donation of more than $5,000 within 48 hours.
And although the Page PAC filings show that the $10,000 was given on May 31, the Unified PAC did not report it until June 30. (It just so happens that on June 7 鈥 a date tucked within that 30-day reporting gap 鈥 Tony Weaver was charged with mail fraud.)
When asked about the $10,000 donation this summer, Page said he does not control the donations of his PAC.
Another interesting note about the $10,000 donation: The Page PAC treasurer who signed off on it, lawyer Brad Bakker, resigned from his post less than two weeks later, on June 13. Then on June 30, Page appointed Bakker to a four-year term on the Metropolitan Zoological Park & Museum District Board.
And for those keeping score, note that the filing records show that Unified PAC is not run by Elbert Walton Jr. 鈥 even if it sounds a lot like an old Walton-run PAC called Unified Democratic Township Organizations, and even if it has the same address, 2320 Chambers Road, as Walton鈥檚 old law office.
