WASHINGTON • President Donald Trump will end a heavy campaign schedule for Republican U.S. House, Senate and gubernatorial candidates in Cape Girardeau, Mo., next Monday night, Election Day eve.
Trump will have 11 campaign rallies in eight states over the last week of the campaign, and two will be in Missouri.
Trump’s campaign had previously announced he would campaign in Columbia, Mo., on Thursday. Trump will have appeared five times in Missouri during the campaign season for Senate candidate Josh Hawley or other Republicans, along with appearing twice at rallies for Rep. Mike Bost, R-Murphysboro, whose district includes part of the Metro East.
Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Cory Gardner, R-Colo., campaigned with Hawley, the attorney general, in Chesterfield on Monday.

Former Vice President Joe Biden will campaign with Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., for a get-out-the-vote rally Wednesday night in ºüÀêÊÓƵ.
McCaskill, campaigning in St. Charles on Monday, said that Trump would not be coming to Missouri so often if Republicans felt Hawley was on his way to defeating her.
“Twice in five days — unbelievable,†she told supporters at Picasso’s Coffee House in St. Charles.
Starting Tuesday, Trump will campaign in Fort Myers, Fla.; on Wednesday in Columbia; in Huntington, W.Va., and Indianapolis on Thursday. He’ll have rallies in Bozeman, Mont., and Pensacola, Fla., on Friday, then will campaign in Macon, Ga., and Chattanooga, Tenn., on Sunday.
On Monday, Trump will start in Cleveland, then campaign in Fort Wayne, Ind., and finish in Cape Girardeau.
By Election Day, Trump’s campaign said, the president will have had 53 rallies in 23 states since taking office last year. He will have had 30 rallies for Republicans between Labor Day and Election Day.
