ºüÀêÊÓƵ County police chief supports gun control plan
The ºüÀêÊÓƵ County police chief gave his support for a plan to crack down on the open-carry of firearms in unincorporated county territory on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The plan aims to stop teenagers from openly carrying weapons — since minors can't get a concealed carry license. "It gives us an opportunity to take action based on what's stated in the law," police Chief Kenneth Gregory Gregory said.
