Allie Branstetter, senior, Westminster
Recorded a 1.119 slugging percentage that included six triples and five home runs. Batted .582 with a team-best 45 RBI. Hit safely in 21 of 22 games as Wildcats posted 24-5 record and reached Class 4 District 3 title game.
Abby Carr, senior, LafayetteÂ
A pitcher and infielder who has committed to Mizzou, Carr compiled a 10-5 record with an 0.68 ERA in the circle. Struck out 165 batters in 82 innings, an average of almost 14 whiffs per game. Batted .471 and led the team with four home runs. Â

Grace Molitor, senior, Washington
Returning first team All-Metro selection led the area with 67 RBI in helping the Blue Jays win their second state championship in three seasons. Hit .523 with 11 home runs. Posted 15 multi-hit games. Hit safely in last eight games.
Alexa Riddel, senior, Parkway WestÂ
Closed the season on a 20-game hitting streak while helping Longhorns finish fourth in Class 4 state tournament. Batted .450 with 22 RBI. Swiped 18 bases and was caught only once. Verbally committed to the University of Kentucky. Can play anywhere.
Allison Waldron, senior, LindberghÂ
Posted an area-best on-base percentage of .718. Also recorded a 1.273 slugging percentage, second in area. Also led area with 61 runs scored. A strong defensive catcher, she threw out 15 runners. Heading to Murray State University.
Right-handed pitcher Maci Knowles helped Winfield to the state tournament last fall for the first time in 29 years. She struck out 160 batters in 103 innings.
