The two pairs were the most common a season ago for the Blues: Leddy-Parayko on the ice at five on five for 993:41 of ice time and Krug-Faulk on for 612:12, a number that would have been higher if Krug did not miss time due to a broken foot.
“Their line is fun to watch from the bench,†said Kevin Hayes. “They kind of know where each other is going to be. It's impressive to watch.â€
With Thursday’s season opener in Dallas, the calendar will shift from a preseason that went pretty much according to plan, to a regular season in which the Blues hope their plan can again work.Â
