Blues general manager Doug Armstrong successfully acquired a pair of young, former first-round picks when the Oilers elected not to match offer sheets to defenseman Philip Broberg and forward Dylan Holloway.
On Tuesday, the week-long wait to find out whether Edmonton would match ºüÀêÊÓƵ’ offer sheets for Broberg and Holloway ended, as the Oilers declined to match the offers and instead accepted draft pick compensation from the Blues.
