CLAYTON — Prominent area law firm Blitz, Bardgett & Deutsch has opened a new office in Kansas City and added four new members to the firm in ºüÀêÊÓƵ.
The firm is best known for its work on the lawsuit that won a $790 million settlement from the NFL and team owners over the Rams’ relocation to Los Angeles. It and law firm Dowd Bennett split $276.5 million in legal fees paid out of the settlement.
The Kansas City office will be staffed by one new member, Anthony “Tony†Bonuchi. The firm also has attorneys in Jefferson City and Columbia, Missouri.
In its Clayton office, the firm added attorneys Kelley Farrell and Andrew Blackwell, both of whom came from law firm Capes Sokol. It also hired Julie Chambers from ReubenLaw LLC and Jim Ferrick, formerly of Greensfelder. It now lists 19 attorneys across the firm.
